Constipation Isn’t Just A Gi Issue
Let’s get real: constipation is not just a grievous digestive condition—it’s a metaphor for a life out of flow. You’re holding onto things that no longer serve you, stuck in patterns, beliefs, and habits that weigh you down and keep you from living in harmony with your truest self.
This isn’t just a physical phenomenon; it’s what I like to call Constipation of the Soul.
The Universal Truths About Life
Two truths guide my understanding of this journey we call life:
1. We’ve been conditioned into versions of ourselves that pale in comparison to who we truly are.
We’re all born perfect by design. Over time, cultural and familial expectations, societal norms, and personal fears create a shadow of our full potential. The true work of adulthood is to unlearn these limitations, rediscover our essence, integrate our shadows, and surrender to the call to live freely and unapologetically.
2. Healing isn’t about becoming something new—it’s about unbecoming everything we are not.
As Dr. Sarah Campbell wisely said, healing is a return to the wisdom already within us. The patterns that keep us in dis-ease are invitations to examine where we’re out of alignment and how we can find our way back to harmony.
What Is "Constipation of the Soul"?
Cultural conditioning grips us like gravity, weighing us down with expectations and fears that disconnect us from our true selves. The result? We feel trapped in a life that doesn’t quite fit—a sense of stagnation, restlessness, or outright despair.
I call this Constipation of the Soul because it’s exactly that: an energetic and emotional blockage that keeps us from moving freely through life. It’s that nagging feeling that something is “off,” even if you can’t quite name it.
If you’ve ever found yourself asking, “Is this really as good as it gets?”—this is your soul whispering (or shouting) that it’s time for change.
Signs You’re Experiencing Soul Constipation
Do these sound familiar?
A persistent sense of stagnation or feeling stuck.
Restlessness—like you’re searching for something you can’t quite find.
Hopelessness—wondering if anything will ever really change.
Persistent feelings of frustration, anger, disappointment, or saltiness
Overwhelm, confusion, or lack of inspiration.
Mysterious physical ailments popping up that you have a sneaking suspicion are connected to your stress levels.
The nagging question: “What am I doing with my life?”
These feelings, as uncomfortable as they are, aren’t just signs of suffering—they’re an invitation.
The Invitation to Heal and decondition
The truth is, these feelings are your unconscious mind trying to get your attention. They’re signals that something in your life is out of alignment with your true essence.
The question isn’t, “Why do I feel this way?” but rather: “am I ready to take the leap toward healing and alignment?
What Does It Mean to Take the Leap?
Taking the leap toward healing doesn’t mean changing everything overnight. It’s about committing to a process of:
Awareness: Identifying the patterns, beliefs, and habits that keep you stuck.
Release: Letting go of what no longer serves you.
Reconnection: Tuning into your inner wisdom and aligning with your true essence.
Flow: Learning to move with life’s natural rhythms rather than resisting or trying to control them.
Alignment Is the Antidote
The opposite of constipation is flow—and alignment is the key to achieving it. Alignment coaching can help you:
Discover Your Unique Blueprint: Tools like Human Design and astrology help you understand who you are at your core.
Reconnect with Your Inner Compass: Learn to trust your intuition and make decisions that feel right for you.
Release the Old, Embrace the New: Let go of cultural conditioning and step into a life that truly fits.
Live Freely and Fully: Create a life that feels inspiring, authentic, and deeply aligned.
Are You Ready?
The feelings of stagnation, overwhelm, frustration, or restlessness are not the enemy—they are the signal that something needs to change.
The deconditioning journey doesn’t require you to become someone new. It asks you to unbecome everything that isn’t truly you and embrace the vibrant, free, and powerful person you already are.
When you are ready to answer the call, let’s work together to get your life—and your soul—back into flow.
